Aarav was visibly annoyed, and I couldn't help but smirk. His irritation stemmed from the fact that we were back home, which meant he'd have to face his favorite bua—and no, that's not a compliment. The sarcasm was evident. None of us particularly liked her. She had a habit of playing the victim card about her husband's demise. Sure, we should sympathize with her, but she conveniently ignored her part in the fallout of her marriage. Anytime someone pointed out her mistakes, she'd revert to her famous dialogue:
