Chapter-1 Destiny

Author's POV:-

It was 4:00 a.m., and the quiet streets were bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. Diya, a young woman of about 22, stood at the entrance of a temple. She was dressed in a traditional blue half-saree, the fabric shimmering under the faint light. Her long black hair was tied neatly into a braid , and her eyes reflected a mix of serenity and determination.

After offering her prayers, Diya stepped out and walked toward a small shop located near the temple. The shop belonged to an elderly woman who ran it with a warm smile and a simple heart. The elderly women asked Diya's help , Diya often helped the shopkeeper, especially when customers faced language barriers.

A short while later, an elegant elderly woman arrived at the shop. She looked to be in her late fifties, dressed in a graceful saree, and radiated an air of sophistication. The woman spoke in Hindi, asking for a specific book. However, the shopkeeper, who only spoke the local language, was unable to understand her.

The shopkeeper turned to Diya, who was organizing items nearby, and called out, “Diya, Diya! Okkasari ekkadki raa! Naku ardam aytaley e Customer em adgutundi oo koncham adgi chepu amma."

[Diya, Diya! Once come here! I'm not able to understand what the customer is asking for can you have the conversation with her please ]

Diya quickly walked over, her warm smile putting the elderly customer at ease. “Yes, aunty, how can I help you?” she asked politely.

The woman replied in Hindi, “Beta, mujhe Krishna Bhagwan ki kahani ke ek book chahiye. Yeh nai wali Puri Janam Yatra hai, woh leke dena.”

Diya nodded and scanned the shelves until she found the book the woman had requested. She handed it over with care, and the customer smiled gratefully. “Thank you, dear,” she said, paying for the book.

As the elderly woman lingered, she struck up a conversation. “What is your name, dear?”

“Diya,” she replied, her smile unwavering. “Aur aap?”

The woman’s face lit up with pride. “I’m Ramyashree Rajvanshi,” she said.

Diya froze for a moment, her eyes widening in recognition. “Ramyashree Rajvanshi? The mother of the ‘Hawk of the Corporate World’?”

Ramyashree chuckled softly. “Yes, my son is Viransh Rajvanshi,” she said, her voice filled with maternal pride.

Diya nodded in awe. “Your son is famous, aunty, even here in South India.”

Ramyashree laughed lightly. “I didn’t know that. I’m glad to hear it.”

Diya, regaining her composure, added, “The corporate world doesn’t see borders, aunty. Your son and his company are known everywhere, even in foreign countries.”

Impressed by Diya’s knowledge, Ramyashree asked, “You seem to know a lot about the corporate world, dear. What do you do?”

Diya hesitated before answering, “Actually, I’m a Ph.D. student, and I’m currently working as an intern at Echelon Dynamiles.”

Ramyashree raised an eyebrow, her smile widening. “Oh, the rival company of my son’s empire,” she remarked playfully.

Diya laughed nervously. “Yes, aunty.”

“Well, dear, it was lovely talking to you. I’ll take your leave now,” Ramyashree said, waving goodbye.

“Bye, aunty,” Diya replied, watching her walk away.

As she stood there, Diya muttered softly to herself, “Viransh Rajvanshi… nice name.” She smiled faintly, lost in thought, when suddenly someone hugged her from behind, pulling her back to reality.
